PTO News
We raised more than $3400 for our kids and families! THANK YOU to everyone who helped spread the word about Give to the Max or donated. This is the most we've ever raised for this fundraiser and it will go toward the Galtier Family Fund.
Volunteers are needed to help coordinate the Read-A-Thon! This has always been a way to get all our students reading, not to mention our biggest fundraiser. If you want to learn more about helping, please email Galtier mom Devin at devin.joesting@gmail.com.

Pre-K News
PreK student, Elda, is a budding artist. Here is just a small sample of her notebook drawings during Ease In to the Day.
When students arrive in the morning, they sign their name on a dry erase board and then they can use the items in their "ease in" buckets which include markers, crayons, notebooks, and play-doh.

1. Please help your child remember to charge their Ipad at home each night....AND....place it into backpacks BEFORE they go to bed so that they are assured to have it at school and ready to use the next day. We are having many students forgetting their Ipads at home day after day. Since we use our Ipads at various times every day, we really need them at school in order for your child to stay on top of their work.
2. It's that time of year again....IT'S COLD!! But we go out for recess every day. We will only keep students inside if the wind chill is expected to be colder than -10 degrees below zero. We ask that you check with your child to make certain they are dressed appropriately for the weather each day. And, please, let Ms Windham, Mr Gardner or Ms Krista know if you need help accessing any winter gear for your child(ren). We have community resources to help in that area and never want anyone to go without.
