NWEA Testing
English
This week we will be focused on choosing writing pieces to publish in our class book of great writing. Students will have time to revise and edit their best work. They will also be writing "About the Author" blurbs.
We will continue to practice grammar through mentor sentences and learn about vocabulary through our study of Greek and Latin roots.
Math
Last week in math, students worked on understanding the relationship between dependent and independent variables. They also worked on problem solving and an analyzing relationships. They had two homework assignments: page 501(2-7)/page 502(1-6) and page 507(2-5) and page 508(1-6). Students also learned how to graph/analyze box-an-whisker plots.
This week, students will be learning about graphing relationships. They will also be taking the NWEA test this week.
