Artificial vs Natural
How does it affect our body?
In the labs, before the food is put on the shelf, scientists use different chemicals to make the artificial ingredients that are in our foods. Some studies show that eating artificial ingredients can harm our bodies. For example, high fructose corn syrup can cause diabetes if abused (taken in high amounts). Artificial ingredients can also result in a allergic reaction, because of chemicals are being used in the equation.
Sometimes natural foods can contain pesticides, chemical fertilizers, antibiotics, and growth hormones. Natural ingredients are much healthier than artificial ingredients because they have not been tampered with in labs, but natural ingredients have not been altered so all the side effects are still in place such as allergies. An example would be natural peanuts and many people are allergic to peanuts so the effects would be put in place.
