Northwest Montana Educational Cooperative

From the Desk of Cherie Stobie, Co-op Director

Welcome back to a new school year! We want to support you in every way we can this year. Let's make it a great one. Here are a few reminders as we kick off our Co-Op year.

The main entrances to the Gateway Community Center, where our office is located, is still locked at this time. If you need to visit us at the office, please call or email first so that we can make sure someone is here to let you in.

Please check your PIR Net Account and remind your colleagues to do the same to make sure all of your information is correct. Unfortunately, we have had several attendees miss receiving important updates or links to virtual sessions this summer due to having an incorrect email in the PIR Net system. Educators who do not yet have a PIR Net Account, please see the next section to get one set up.

This year, with our smaller Co-op and new and improved on-site model, Cherie will be out and about 2-3 days each week. Therefore, Beth will be your main go-to person for scheduling PIR, assistance with the PIRnet system, questions regarding OPI renewal units, room requests for events and trainings, and other administrative tasks. Beth's email is: office@nwmtcoop.org and our office phone is (406) 752-3302.

Our Management Board meetings will alternate between in-person and virtual. We will have a remote option for out-of-area attendees to join virtually, even for the in-person meetings; however, the ability to see and hear everything clearly isn't promised (we do our best with hybrid, but as I'm sure you all know, it isn't ideal). Please see the attached Meeting Schedule and Yearly Calendar for specifics.

We are so glad you are still part of the Northwest Montana Educational Cooperative and are looking forward to a great year together. Have a fantastic 2021-2022 School Year!
