It's here, it's here! Tuesday, April 13th is a school day for ALL STUDENTS. Please make sure you/your student is in attendance.

ISAT testing is coming up on Tuesday, April 13th for all 9th and 10th graders. To prepare for testing please make sure that your device headphone jacks are working, your volume is turned up, and the audio is heard loud and clear. Testing day please come with your device charged from the night before. Please also bring with you your charger and if you choose your own headphones to use. An important thought to also prepare for testing is to restart your computer while on campus to receive the latest updates to your device.

To prepare for 11th grade SAT testing, students are allowed to bring/use a calculator if it’s on the approved list, please check with the counselors if you have questions. Please leave your technology at home. Phones will need to be turned off while you are testing. Make sure to get plenty of rest the night before as well as having a good breakfast to start your day.

Spring Formal April 17th

A parent group has arranged for a formal event to happen on Saturday, April 17th at the Boise Train Depot, running from 8 to 11 PM with the theme of “An Enchanted Night”.

It will be held under the regulations established by Central District Health.

April 12th - 16th - Spirit Week

  • Maui Monday (tropical wear of all kinds)
  • Testing Tuesday (just be comfortable)
  • Wednesday Pajama Day (appropriate sleepwear)
  • Thursday is White Lie shirt day (stay tuned on this one, as there are some rules that go with it)
  • Frat Friday (the usual, boat-shoe wearing preppie look)

CWI Next Steps Day

CWI is going to be hosting a CWI Next Steps day in the CHS Career Center from 9:00a.m. – 1:00p.m. on April 15, 2021. This is the day for all students that have applied or been admitted to get help with the following:

· Completing CWI application

· Completing placement testing

· Next steps guidance

· Completing online New Student Orientation

· Setting up your student account and email

· Scholarship completion

In order to participate, you will need to go to Mrs. Carson’s Career Center and sign up with her!

Dual Credit Transcripts

Seniors! If you are taking, or have taken, dual credit courses, you need to transfer your final dual credit transcripts to the college you will be attending. Need help or have questions?

2021 FBI Teen Symposium

The Salt Lake City FBI invites all interested high school juniors and seniors, 16-18 years of age, in Utah, Idaho and Montana to apply to the FBI’s Teen Symposium. Virtual training will take place via Microsoft Teams on Thursday and Friday, April 22 & 23, 2021


Preston Capel Loan

The Preston Capel Loan deadline is Wednesday, April 14th at 5pm. Any senior or graduate of a NSD school can apply, and this is an interest free loan if paid back in time. You can ask for any amount, but the committee tries to spread the available funds out as much as possible. Most loans end up being around the $2,000 range.
