PI DAY IS COMING!
Did you know that the record for discovering the most number of digits of pi belongs to Fabrice Ballard? He calculated 2,700,000,000,000 decimal places on just a desktop computer. That’s 2.7 trillion digits!
(Pi Day is on Sunday in 2021, and Albert Einstein's birthday was on Pi Day in 1879!)
For a variety of activities at all grade levels, go to NCTM Pi Day.
