Welcome!

My name is Risa Crosby, and I will be your child's principal at Gray Elementary! I am looking forward to getting to know each of you and your children. I am committed to making Adriane Mathews Gray Elementary school the very best in LCISD. As the 2022-2023 school year comes to an end, I want you to know I will be updating you on the progress of the school through the social media outlets below. You are welcome to check in often to see school updates and building progress throughout the summer.


I hope you are getting excited! In the next couple of weeks I will be visiting both Meyer and Culver to introduce myself to our future Grizzlies. I was able to meet students at Culver today!

When will the building be complete?

The building is coming together very nicely and is scheduled to be completed at the end of June. All is on schedule! The flooring, carpet and cabinets are currently being installed.

Will we have a standard dress-code?

Soon there will be a survey sent out to parents for a vote on school standardized dress. I will share the link via social media outlets and we will collect votes for a few weeks. Once we have collected a majority of votes a decision can be determined.
