Week 3 Term 3, Friday 12 August
PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Kia ora parents and caregivers
I'm really excited to announce that we are going solar by the end of this month!
In partnership with 'Integrated Energy Ltd', we are installing solar panels on the roofs of two blocks - Rooms 5-8 and 'Hiwa' (Room 11/12).
This will both reduce our electricity bill each month and promote the concept of sustainability with our children.
We will be provided with applications that enable us to monitor our energy savings - this will make for a wonderful 'real' learning experience for our children.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Nga mihi,
Steve
