PJ & Toy Day
Pizza Hut Book-It Reading Program
To help your child grow as a reader and foster life-long reading habits, we will participate in the Pizza Hut Book-It Program. On Wednesday of next week, I will send home a reading calendar, which you will use to record your child's nightly reading. Our goal is to read for 20 minutes per night on five days of the week. Color the days you complete the goal, sign your calendar and return the calendar at the end of the month in exchange for a free pizza coupon for your child! The program months include October through March, so look for our first calendar to come home next week. Happy reading!
Superhero Breakfast Winner
This year PTA will be hosting a quarterly Superhero Breaskast to celebrate our students who have great attendance and/or behavior. Teachers are asked to choose a student for each month and for the month of August, our Superhero is Aubrey Bennet!
Aubrey is an excellent friend to all of her classmates, an active classmate, and always sets a positive example for peers. Also, she has the most DoJo points thus far!
Congratulations, Aubrey!
