Dear Brooklyn Collaborative Families,
We invite you to become a Grade Level Crew Parent for 2018-2019.
Grade Level Crew Parents play a critical role to help every family feel connected to our community. They support our grade level crews, help build community within the crews and Brooklyn Collaborative as a whole, and provide an additional level of communication between home and school.
Grade Level Crew Parents are an important link between our families and teachers, PTA, and school administration.
If you would like to be a Grade Level Crew Parent, please RSVP to this event or email Imani at imani@bcs448.org
We will follow up with you with a specific date and time for an orientation.
What are the duties and responsibilities of a Grade Level Crew Parent?
Serve as a liaison between crew teacher(s) and crew families and school administration
Communicate with families about ETs, class projects, crew activities/events/requests, etc.
Communicate with families about PTA and school-wide events, including requests volunteers as needed.
Collaborate with school administration and parent coordinator to identify areas of parent concern and interest in your grade and coordinate any necessary meetings.
Represent BCS at various school events.
