January 31st - February 5th

Vision

At East Central Junior High we are committed to preparing students academically and socially to be self-sufficient, contributing members of the community with plans for a successful future.

Good afternoon,

What an amazing weekend. It is not very often that we have weather in the 60's and 70's during the month of January. The hardest part about having these types of weekends (at least for me) is figuring out what to do. For me it came down to choosing between golfing or taking my family to the zoo (which ultimately won out). We had a great time together and I hope that you all had the opportunity to get out and enjoy the beautiful weather with your family and friends.

It is hard to believe that tomorrow is the first day of February. It feels like we just came back from Christmas Break and now we find ourselves at the midway point of the 3rd nine weeks. Before we know it April will be here and we will be deep into state testing (approximately 43 days until testing begins). It is also important to call attention to the fact that this next stretch of time leading up to Spring Break can be one of the hardest parts of the school year. It is vitally important that we push through this challenging time with the same urgency and determination that we have during the previous months of the school year.

It is a privilege to work with such an amazing staff. Thank you for all of your hard work and your continual commitment to being a difference maker for our students.
