PK 4.3 - Weekly Newsletter
Dear families,
Time is passing by so fast!
Looking back at October we can definitely say we took advantage of every single day of it. Children are enjoying our Clothes Study very much. Sorting, washing and hanging clothes, pretend playing at our laundromat, trying different clothes and designing their own hats are some of the experiences we worked on these last couple of weeks.
This week in particular, we focused on "Where do we get our clothes?" and had class discussions about the different places in which we can go and buy things. We also reviewed a little bit about the behavior expectations when we go shopping.
On top of all that, we welcomed Mrs. Galiana in our classroom and she told us about her experience as a buyer! A very important and "behind the scenes" process of the way we get clothes. We sorted clothes according to the season we might need it, explored with our senses (even smelling!) some fabric samples and even had the chance to design our a piece of clothing and select the fabric we wanted it to have! A big shout out and thank you to Mrs. Galiana for being an active member of our school family and taking her time to prep for all those things!!!
Have a great Fiestas Patrias break! We will be back at school on November 13th and we will see you on November 14th for our Mes de la Patria Event!
