Early years

Ludwig van Beethoven was born in Bonn Germany on December 17 ,1770. When he was young his father recognized his ability with instruments and nurtured it, to earn money for himself. He learned how to compose from an official organist and became assistant organist at age 11 and published his first composition soon after. In 1787 he visited Vienna where he met Antonio Salieri and Mozart, who he worked briefly with.He decided to settle in Vienna and lived there for the rest of his life.

This is a map of the Austrian empire in 1795. Beethoven lived in Austria since 1787 to the time of his death in 1827. Soon after he moved there his sister, mother and his father died so he had to take on the financial responsibility of supporting his brothers and sisters that were still alive, he wads very stressed during that time and couldn't concentrate while he was composing.During that same time he befriended Franz Joseph Haydn while he was learning from him, even though the teacher student relationship didn't work they remained friends.

Beethoven's symphony No.9

Beethoven's symphony no. 9 was one of the greatest musical pieces that he composed, even though he was challenged by his deafness. Beethoven was a very celebrated composer in Europe due to all the songs he composed. In 1827 during a storm sadly Beethoven died, his last words were ''i will hear in heaven'' will always be remembered due to the nature of his death. There was a big funeral for the composer, he was paraded through Vienna while several people watched in sadness as the great composer was being laid to rest in the Vienna cementery.

Legacy

Beethoven left behind his music that inspires people to become musicians like him. Also that you can do anything even if you have a disability and be good at it.In the end he left us all his very talented music and most importantly his story of the challenges he overcame to keep composing music and inspire people of his time.
