Message From Miss Melanie

Congratulations to Johns on winning the Holy Rosary Athletics carnival on Thursday 17th August. It was great to see all of our students try their best in all of the events and the support given to those students who do not enjoy athletics was lovely to see. A big thank you to Miss Mel J and Miss Alis for helping out on the day. Also a big thank you to DAHS for providing fruit and water on the day for all of our students.


Year 6 students will be given their graduation shirt by the end of the term - the design is a secret at the moment with the winning design be unveiled once the shirts have arrived. These shirts will be allowed to be worn in place of the HRS school shirt once they have been given out. May I say - the design is AWESOME.


We are looking for an Aboriginal Teacher Assistant or a Teacher Assistant for Term 4, the position is 4 days per week. If you are interested in applying for this position please send an application to admin@hrsderby.wa.edu.au.

The Sacrament of Confirmation will be held on Sunday 10th September at 9.00am in the Church. All families are welcome to attend this mass and join the candidates, families and Parish for morning tea in the Parish Centre afterwards.


If you would like your child to be baptised and participate in the Sacramental program and you are not Catholic, please give your name to Miss Jenna.

School Advisory Council

If you are interested in supporting the growth and direction of Holy Rosary School we would love to see you join our school Advisory Council. The Council meets once a term to discuss ways to support the school with programmes and future planning and works in partnership with the Principal and relevant members of Staff.
