PSSA Testing at Skyview
Monday, April 9 - Wednesday, April 11 - PSSA ELA testing (3 days; testing occurs in the morning beginning promptly at 8:50 a.m.)
Monday, April 16 and Tuesday April 17 - PSSA Math testing (2 days; testing occurs in the morning beginning promptly at 8:50 a.m.)
Please note the following informational items:
- Cell phones, smartphones, smart watches and other electronic devises ARE NOT permitted in the testing room. Students will be instructed to leave all such items locked in their lockers.
- Students arriving after testing has started for the day will be required to participate in make-up testing sessions. Once testing has begun, students may not enter late. If a student arrives late to school on a testing day, he/she will remain in an alternate location in the school.

Skyview Elementary 5th Grade Science Fair
Friday, April 20, 2018

5th Grade Students will be showcasing their projects!!!
Please read ALL of the following detailed information and reminders with regard to the Science Fair.
Note: This is not an in-class project. This is an optional event meant to be completed at home.
• Fill out all the information in the Project Detail Form below and return to school no later than Tuesday, April 3. This information will enable organizers to provide each individual/group with table space at the fair. Students' names and project titles will also be included in the program for the event.
• Remember, set up for the fair begins at 6:00 pm on April 20, 2018. Your project display must be completely set up before the fair begins at 6:30. The event will conclude at approximately 7:45.
• Parents are encouraged to view the displays of multiple students and talk to them about their experiments. Students will have the opportunity to view their peers’ displays as well.
• Please keep in mind that you will be limited to the table space directly in front of your tri-fold/laptop/Chromebook and the floor space immediately in front of your table. This space is approximately 36” by 15”.
• Limited access to electrical outlets- only those students who need electricity to power their actual projects (not slide shows) will be allotted a space with access to an outlet. Please indicate on the form below if your project requires access to an outlet.
