Everyday Hero
By Patricia García
SHAUN CUNNINGHAM
Shaun Cunningham is an everyday hero because he saved the life of his son. Everything happened when they were in a stadium of baseball, the bat of a player escaped and went to an eight-year-old child. Shaun, his father, stopped it in time and the child only had a few wounds that weren´t serious.
THE WORK OF SHAUN CUNNINGHAM
He works as a fireman. A typical working day for a fireman means working all day and resting two or three days after work. A fireman always has to be ready for an emergency.

SKILLS OF A FIREMAN
At work, he has to be fit. To be a fireman you need these skills:
To be strong, to be in good shape, to be brave, not be afraid...
MY IDEAL JOB
I would hate to be a firefighter because I am afraid of fire and I really hate working at night. I would prefer to be a maths teacher because I love mathematics and working with children or to be a computer programmer because I love information technology.
