Happy Friday!

During today's SEL Zoom Assembly, Ms. Collin's class presented on the contributions of some of the Asian Americans as we celebrate the Asian American Heritage Month, and Ms. Lee's class shared about "Valuing Each Other". Please help to reinforce the value of diversity and appreciation of other regardless of ethnicity, ability, race, etc.

Staff Appreciation Week - May 8th-12th

During next week's Staff Appreciation Week, let your child's teacher feel extra special by participating in the following activity:

* Monday - Have your child write a Thank You card.

* Tuesday - Bring a flower picked from a garden.

* Wednesday - Bring a healthy snack.

* Thursday - Bring a sweet treat.

* Friday - Volunteer to bring a dish for the staff luncheon. All food/drinks should be set up for about 50 people at the parent center before 11:45 am. Thank you.

SBAC Testing

3rd-5th grade students will begin SBAC State Testing starting next week. Students should get a good night sleep, eat a nutritious breakfast, and be on time. Students that arrive after testing has begun will not be allowed in the classroom until testing is complete each day. Your support is appreciated.

Spring Flower Sale

Be sure to order Spring Flowers by May 10th through PAVE. It'll be a perfect Mother's Day gift.

Family Fun Fest - May 20th

Many volunteers are needed from each classroom. Please email Karla Reinosa at reinosakarlaa@gmail.com if you're available to help with the set-up, activities, and/or clean-up.

ETK-8th Grade Summer School Application

Parents/guardians may visit http://enroll.lausd.net to enroll your child for ETK-8th Gen Ed Summer Program.

- Enter address and contact information

- Select the preferred summer host site

- Acknowledge program information

- Choose to consent/not consent to the LAUSD Media Waiver

- Indicate if interested in having child participate in BTB enrichment program

For ESY registration for special ed students, you should have received the registration information already.

Enrolling for 2023-2024 School Year

We are enrolling students in all grades for 2023-2024 school year. School tour is offered upon request.

CSPP - 3- and 4-year-olds (must be potty-trained)

UTK - 4-year-olds that will turn 5 years old between September 2, 2023 and September 1, 2024.

K-5th Grade

* For families that live outside the residential boundary, School Permit can be requested or you can apply for Open Enrollment between May 1st to 19th.
