Field-Stevenson Newsletter

Week 7

A message from Principal Bogdan

Hello Field-Stevenson Families,

What a busy short week we had at Field! Our Intramurals wrapped up with VERY exciting match- ups against Grant White. While we did not bring home the Ws I am VERY PROUD of the teamwork and effort from our students. They also looked like they had a ton of fun, I know I did!! Our week is ending with Parent/Teacher Conferences. I hope you find the time to chat with your child's teacher is valuable and informative. It is our goal to work in partnership with you. Please enjoy the extra long weekend and I look forward to seeing everyone bright eyed and ready to learn on Tuesday, October 12th!

Mrs. Susan Bogdan

School Announcements and Resources

Fall School Pictures

Picture Day is coming up on 10/18/2021! Order online at

If you choose, students are allowed to take their masks off and hold them in their laps when it is their turn to get their picure taken. Please discuss this with your child prior to picture day.

Field-Stevenson Spirit Wear

Flyers for Field SHARK Spirit wear were sent home last week. We love seeing our students representing their school and staff love to show their school spirit on Fridays. If you would like to make a purchase please visit the site on the flyer and place your order by 10/17. We are close to our minimum goal of 36 items to place an order.

SHIELD Testing

Due to the student day off on Friday, 10/8 students did NOT participate in Shield testing this week. You are free to test your child on your own. Due to the 5th grade field trip next week, our 5th graders will be tested on Wednesday, 10/13. 3rd and 4th graders will be tested on Friday like normal.

Lost and Found

Our lost and found is growing daily. We have several nice hoodies and jackets hanging in the front stairwell. If your child seems to be missing any clothing items please have them check the lost and found.

Infinite Campus Student and Parent Portal

Students and parents can visit the Infinite Campus portal beginning on Monday, 9/27, to view in-progress grades. Students, click on the IC student portal link here. Use the Google Single Sign-On to log in.

Parents can use the IC parent link if they created a portal login for online registration. For all parents who did not create a parent portal account over the summer, an email will be sent out next week with Infinite Campus portal activation instructions.

Lunch Deliveries

We are still seeing fast-food lunches dropped off for students. D91 strives to be a healthy food school district. It is for this reason that we will not be allowing any fast food deliveries to the school at any time. If your child forgets their lunch you are able to drop off a lunch box or bag for them at the main office before their lunch period.

We are a NUT FREE school. Please refrain from having your student bring nut snacks and food items to school. This includes Nutella. We appreciate your help in keeping our students safe.
