What is happening in RM 16?

Reading:
Focus Skill: Making Connections/Fact and Opinion
Please make sure your child is reading at least 20-30 minutes each night!
Writing:
The kids will have the opportunity to write freely for the next couple of weeks!!
Spelling:
Spelling lists were on Bright Pink this week.

Look, Cover, Write (They have to type in their list before they begin)
Math:
We will continue Unit 6. Our test will be FRIDAY, April 7th. Your child will bring a review guide that we complete in class, home Wednesday evening.
Skills covered: division, angles, word problems, and multiplying fractions.

Lewis and Clark Expedition! We are writing journal entries as if we were on the Corps of Discovery with Lewis and Clark!
States and Capitals Rap This is how we are learning and we are having a lot of fun with them! Ask your child to sing to you ;) They have mastered to Montana.
States and Capitals Activity for Practice
The kids have placed two study sheets for states and capitals in the back of their HOOT Binders. (We will not be testing until the last week of April)
**In addition to the capitals, they need to know the location of each state.
Missouri Heritage Days Field Trip
**We had 8 parents volunteer to chaperone. Unfortunately, only 5 could be chosen to go. I will be notifying you either way.
