Working Toward a Goal
Team Columbia:
We are well on our way of working toward a goal. I want to personally extend my appreciation and thanks to everyone. As a Team we have taken ownership of our current situation and we are all pitching in to come off of the Failing School's List. Many of you have really stepped up to the plate and that has not gone unnoticed.
Thanks to all the department chairs for working with your departments.. We also have several teachers who have provided resources and ideas: Mrs. Pepper, Mrs. Goodson, Ms. Cunningham, Mrs. Walker-Price, Mrs. Flowers, Mrs. Proctor, Mr. Vickery, Mrs. Hendricks and Ms. McCants.
Our game plan is coming together and I know working together we will achieve our goal. Continue stressing the importance of student performance on the ACT WorkKeys, ACT Aspire, and ACT Plus Writing exams.
Great job team! Please take a look at the article below, provided by Ms. Cunningham, entitled How Teams Can Transform Schools.
Enjoy this week of teaching and learning!!!
