Mystery Guest Photo of Madi Hall for dance workshopMadi has an AA in deaf studies and has been learning ASL since 1st grade. She always had Deaf students at her dance studio growing up and learned ASL to work with them and learn to incorporate dance and ASL. | Justin Perez, Visual Vernacular Was born and raised in Houston, Texas. He was a student at Texas School for the Deaf. He has always been fascinated by American Sign Language (ASL) performance art and storytelling styles. Throughout his teenage years, he had incredibly deep bonds with several of his close friends who also enjoy sharing a variety of ASL stories, and that was where he defined numerous storytelling techniques along with sign language expressions. The more he shared his stories with the public; the more people have asked him to continue sharing his stories. | Jennifer Tandoc, Artist Jennifer Tandoc, an Abstract Illustrator, was born in Manila, Philippines and grew up in Los Angeles, California since 1978. She now resides in Austin, Texas where she continues to follow her passion in art and thrive in selling her artwork. |
