Just so you know, Vanguard members work to deliver the best curriculum practices which include transformative technology. Vanguard members are able to provide mentoring with teachers and a host of other supportive services. Each one of us has unique specializations when it comes to instructional technology, so, if you need some support or just want to bounce an idea off of us, we would be happy to listen.

#Mystery Skype

Mystery Skype is an educational game, invented by teachers, played by two classrooms on Skype. The aim of the game is to guess the location of the other classroom by asking each other questions. It's suitable for all age groups and can be used to teach subjects like geography, history, languages, mathematics and science. Check out the video below to see a Mystery Skype Lesson in action.

Mystery Skype Connecting Classrooms Around The World

What do you need to do to have #Mystery Lesson in your classroom?

Just tell me know! I will be happy to host a lesson with you. I have already planned some lessons with a few awesome Skype teachers. The game we will be playing is called "Twenty Questions." The game is recommended for beginners to Skype and younger age groups. Students in each class prepare a set of 20 questions and 5-10 clues for the other class before their call. The classes try to guess each other's location by answering the questions and using additional clues for a little extra help. This can work well for our first Mystery Skype lesson and is a good way to improve your student's knowledge of where they live.
