The Mystery is Over....Campbell has a New Vanguard Team!!!
Look at our Fab-new Vanguard Team at Campbell. We are here and ready to share all of our awesome ideas and training with YOU! Our team consist of Stacey Story (Kindergarten), Alexandra Larson (Third Grade/PD Committee Chairperson), Tara Schiedermayer (Instructional Technology Teacher), and Stacy Hubbard (Instructional Technology Specialist for PD).
Just so you know, Vanguard members work to deliver the best curriculum practices which include transformative technology. Vanguard members are able to provide mentoring with teachers and a host of other supportive services. Each one of us has unique specializations when it comes to instructional technology, so, if you need some support or just want to bounce an idea off of us, we would be happy to listen.
Mystery Skype is an educational game, invented by teachers, played by two classrooms on Skype. The aim of the game is to guess the location of the other classroom by asking each other questions. It's suitable for all age groups and can be used to teach subjects like geography, history, languages, mathematics and science. Check out the video below to see a Mystery Skype Lesson in action.
What do you need to do to have #Mystery Lesson in your classroom?

Every other Thursday topics will be chosen based upon what YOU want to learn more about, so make sure you complete the Google Form Survey below. If you want to share your favorite tech tool or app with your peers you are welcomed to do so, just indicate your topic and name on the survey form. Future topics include, but are not limited to, Twitter, Edmodo, KidBlogs, App Smashing, NearPod and so much more. Attendance is optional.
If you have any comments, questions or suggestions on how I can improve the newsletter, just drop me an email. I am here to help you meet the needs of our students by integrating the curriculum with more technology! Every idea counts because I believe in the power of what we can do together. Each issue is different because of your input and comments. Keep reading and sharing ideas.
