PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE
February 2021
Holly Springs Begins February With A Kindness Challenge
Since the month of February typically brings about emotions of love and friendship, Holly Springs has kicked off a kindness challenge for our students. COVID may alter our traditional Valentine's traditions but it won't stop us from sharing the love! Students have been encouraged and offered the opportunity to use paper hearts to write messages to other students and teachers. The hearts are posted throughout our school on doorways and in our halls as reminders of our acts of kindness toward one another.
Black History Month Celebration preparations are in progress. Our performance committee has been working diligently with our students to prepare an online presentation for Black History Month. We will share the celebration online on Wednesday, February 24th.
Finally, thank you to all parents for assisting with keeping our students and staff safe by monitoring any symptoms of sickness of your children. If your child is running a fever, please keep them home until they are fever free for 24 hours without any medication. Any student who is attending virtually or physical should rest if they are sick. Safety and wellness is our first priority, as we know if students are safe and well, they will achieve success in their learning.
