Celebrate AISD Administrative Professionals April 22-28
April 22-28 is Administrative Professionals Appreciation Week, a time for the district to honor and recognize the important contributions of AISD's assistants, secretaries, registrars, clerical support staff and other office professionals.
Administrative professionals play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our schools and offices, and promoting the well-being of our students, families and community. These dedicated professionals are a critical link between parents, teachers and administrators, and they impact the district's work every day.
Our administrative professionals wear many hats — from managing the front office, coordinating multiple schedules and calendars, planning events and maintaining student data, to acting as parent advocates and even serving as customer service liaisons and safety-check monitors.
AISD is thankful to have so many wonderful, dedicated professionals working each day for the benefit of our students, staff and community. We encourage you to set aside some extra time during this special week to honor AISD administrative professionals for the outstanding job they do every day, year round.
Here are simple ways you can show your appreciation:
Decorate your administrative professional's desk or cubicle with balloons and banners announcing "Happy Administrative Professionals Week."
Give your administrative professionals a book of inspirational readings, a needed reference item, a gift certificate or a ticket to their favorite event. You can also give job-related gifts they can use all year long, such as personalized pens, notepads, stationary or computer accessories.
Give your administrative professionals heart-felt thank you cards or Bravo! Cards from the staff.
Promote Administrative Professionals Appreciation Week throughout your school by displaying a poster or banner in the front office, hallways and library.
Take your administrative professionals out to lunch or host a recognition breakfast, lunch or dinner in their honor.
Display the names of administrative professionals on your school marquee and honor them in your campus newsletter bulletin.
Please take this opportunity to show your administrative professionals how much you appreciate them. Your thoughtfulness will be remembered.
