Writers Workshop

We are continuing to learn about non-fiction writing. This week we began writing our "All About" books. First, the students picked a topic they know about. Some topics included bats, ocean animals, farms, community workers and owls. Next, the students researched their topic on the website raz-kids.com, www.kidrex.org and www.kids.nationalgeographickids.com. After becoming experts the students began writing a non-fiction book on their topic.
