Success can be described or perceived in many different ways. This is only page one of my manual, so you must ask yourself, "how do I want to succeed? Mentally? Fiscally?", well, I will give you all of the answers. Get out your notebook and pens, because this is stuff you're going to want to write down.

There are multiple types of success: you could be the big boss, or you could have exactly everything you want right in front of you- a perfect cookie cutter family, perhaps. As a fresh out of college graduate, you are experiencing a lot of things right now; commonly known as "the real world". Remember freshman year? When you joined a sorority or a fraternity? Remember when that seemed like a great idea? Yeah, well then life kicked in and you realized that you didn't have a very solid major or overall life plan to carry you through. No need to worry though! There are more things to life than just your college major or diploma.
Have you ever heard that "charisma is key"? Probably not, because that's not the belief! We as a society have created the idea that the key to success is a hardy college degree, and that the people who want to be successful go to the BEST schools. Thankfully, society has just now gotten to the point where we are beginning to grow out of this belief as we grow into a more technologically advanced and "do it yourself" type of era.

As America and the world itself becomes more technologically advanced, dreams and life goals begin to shift. The American Dream has been defined as "the ideal that every US citizen should have an equal opportunity to achieve success and prosperity through hard work". However, it's not about chance anymore, or really opportunity at all. Things in the 21st century move quick, and whether you just happen to go viral, think of the best new website or app, or are just in the right place at the right time.
