Kindergarten Registration

Kindergarten registration for 4 and 5-year-old students in Anderson District One will be held Wednesday, March 2.

8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

First Grade Registration

Registration for first grade will be held Wednesday, March 9.

8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Please remember that children must be in their classrooms BEFORE 8:00 to avoid being counted as tardy. Only doctor notes will excuse tardies.

Also, in reference to absences, please remember to send in doctor notes, or parent notes if doctor notes are not available, so that absences may be excused. You are allowed only 5 parent notes per school year to excuse 5 absences.

Attendance Intervention meetings will be held after excessive tardies or absences have accumulated. A child is marked as truant after 5 unexcused absences or three consecutive unexcused absences.

We appreciate your help and look forward to a great year in 2016!

Computer Science Education Week was December 7-13, 2015. Our K-2 students celebrated this week by participating in “The Hour of Code”. The “HOC” is an opportunity for every student to try computer science for one hour. We wrote programs for games like Star Wars, Minecraft, and Frozen. The students did a great job and had a lot of fun! To learn more or to try it at home, you can visit their website at
