Roosevelt Weekly Parent Info
Hey Roosevelt families...here are a few reminders for the week:
~ Vision & Hearing Screening: The last of the Vision/Hearing referrals just went out in the mail. If you have ANY questions at all, please call Heather Hedin, our school nurse.
~ Late Start is NEXT week on Tuesday, December 10. Sign up for FREE CHILD WATCH HERE. Also, there is NO PTO MEETING in December. Our next meeting will be Tuesday, January 14 at 5:30 in the Roosevelt Media Center.
~ Put First Things First: In Rocky Time today we continued learning about Habit #3: Put First Things First. Students reviewed that this means they should spend time on things that are most important, and they have to say no to things they should not do. We discussed the importance of setting priorities, making a schedule, and following a plan. Being organized is also an important part of putting first things first! We read a book about the importance of doing the 'big rocks' first before enjoying the 'smaller rocks'. Ask your child what this means!

United Way Goal Met
The Roosevelt staff is proud to announce that we made our United Way goal of having 100% of staff who contributed to this phenomenal organization. In appreciation, Superintendent Peterson served breakfast and coffee to all of the staff the day before Thanksgiving Break!!!
