Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra
We are delighted to inform you that two Titans are members of the 2018–19 Hochstein Youth Symphony Orchestra, the highest-level youth orchestra in The Hochstein School’s five-tier youth orchestra program. We congratulate Helena Robinson and Colin Stubbs on achieving this high honor.

WCSD Fine Arts Twitter Contest
Students in Advertising & Graphic Design classes at Thomas & Schroeder last spring participated in a contest to design a Logo for our WCSD Fine Arts director's Twitter.
Congratulations to both Carter Wendorff & Adeyln McCarthy for winning at Thomas. We have 2 winners at Thomas & 2 at Schroeder. Their logos will be rotated

Hey Seniors! Scholarship Newsletter Below!!
The Counseling Center will send out a C3 Scholarship newsletter 1-2 times a month. In this newsletter will be scholarship opportunities with deadlines and criteria needed to apply, some of them will have a link to click on for the registration materials/application. Scholarships without a link will be located in the counseling center. Feel free to stop down and pick up an application any time during the school day. If at any point you have any questions regarding these, feel free to see or email YOUR own school counselor or stop down to the office. Do not respond to this email please unless your having difficulty with access to the link below.

Juniors: Juniors have the opportunity to visit a college campus as a field trip. Please pick up your passport in the Counseling Center. You may choose from the following colleges: RIT, St. John Fisher or Keuka.

Would you like to experience 3 days of fun, interactive leadership training?
Would you like to experience what life is like on a college campus?
Would you like to discover how your leadership can lead to social change?
If you answered yes to any of these questions please consider attending an informational meeting to learn more about the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Training to be held this coming June at the University of Rochester. To sign up for the informational meeting, see Mrs. Marcello in the Counseling Center.
Seniors - Check your school email for you one-on-one appointment with your School Counselor and/or to meet with college representatives. Please be aware of your college deadlines. We need your gold sheets 10 school days before your college deadline!! When school is out we are not here either so those days don’t figure in the 10 day count.
From the World of Titan Sports...
Cheerleading
So far this season the team placed First in the Victor competition on October 21st and 1st and overall Grand Champion in the Arcadia Competition October 23rd.Good luck to the team as they will be competing in Fall Sectionals at RIT this weekend.
Cross Country
Good luck to our Boys and Girls Cross Country Teams as they compete in Sectionals at Param Park tomorrow.
Field Hockey
The girls Played Fairport in the Semi finals Thursday night. The girls lost 3-1 to a very tough Fairport team. They had a great season.
Football
The boys played in the finals of the Connors Ferris Bowl Thursday night. It was a hard fought game but the boys lost to Brockport in OT 27-22. They finished the season 4-5.
Boys Soccer
Boys Soccer ended their season Saturday Night with a 2-0 sectional loss to #1 seeded Hilton. The boys played hard and had some chances throughout the game but were unable to score.
Girls Swimming
Good Luck to our Webster girls Varsity Swim team as they compete in Sectionals today at Gates Chili at 5pm.
Boys Volleyball
Webster boys volleyball advanced to the quarterfinals with a straight set win in Section V's first round last night, defeating Gates-Chili. Webster was led in attack by Jack Willard, he had 18 kills on only 20 sets. Willard also tallied three blocks. Strong offense was distributed by Allister Spiegel and Michael Dedee, each recording 19 assists. Defensively, Mike Wyant contributed 10 digs while also leading the serve receive. Webster plays on the road Tuesday for a quarterfinal match-up at McQuaid, at 5:00pm.
Girls Volleyball
The Girls won their Quarter final sectional game vs. Edison 3 sets -0. 25-9, 25-9, 25-5
Emily Presutti had 11 aces
Sarah Petz had 8 aces
Grace Brown had 6 kills
Audrey Mack 6 kills and
Julia Yakowyna had 11 assists
They will play Penfield at Penfield in a Semi Final game Saturday at 5pm
Winter sports news...
Any boys interested in swimming this winter, there will be an informational meeting at the Webster Aquatic Center on October 29th at 3pm. Hope to see you there.
There will be a mandatory alpine ski team meeting on Tuesday, October 30th, at 2:45 in the senior lounge across from the cafeteria. If you are unable to make the meeting please contact Coach Francis for more details.
There will be a brief meeting for anyone interested in trying out for the boys Mod A/Freshmen basketball team Tuesday October 30th after school at 2:30pm in the cafeteria area
