A Message from Dr. Davenport
This week our Baby Bears in Pre-K and Kindergarten were able to enjoy a wonderful field lesson at Old MacDonald's Farm. From train rides and horse rides to a petting zoo and pumpkin patch, our students had a wonderful experience. I look forward to seeing the creations made with the pumpkins they brought back.
We hope all families that are participating in our Brighter Bites food program are enjoying the items they received during this week's distribution day. Please share any photos of those items being used. All families are encouraged to sign-up for the program and can contact Mrs. Morales in the front office to do so.
Our Roosevelt Soccer team put another one in the win column. Our Bears were focused to bounce back after last week and did so with a 5-3 victory of Ketelson ES. Our record is now 3-1 and we hope our Bears can keep the momentum going. Thank you to all parents, students, teachers, and cheer team for coming out.
This week we have a few opportunities for parents to collaborate with our campus. On Thursday, we have our Annual Trunk or Treat Fall Festival from 5:00 - 7:00. We look forward to seeing all of our families out for fun and excitement On Saturday, our Roosevelt Soccer team will have a rematch against Sherman ES.
