100th Day Of School
Students will not be released to individuals who do not have a valid FranklinPass sticker and a school-issued placard displayed on the vehicle dashboard. Without a FranklinPass, a person trying to pick up a student must bring a photo ID for verification and may be asked to park and visit the office before the student can be released.
Elementary students are released at 2:15 pm and MYP students at 3:15 pm. On 'early release' days, K-5 students are released at 11:15 am and MYP students at 12:15 pm.
Changes in student dismissal must be provided to the classroom teacher and the front office, in writing, by 12:00 pm the day the dismissal change is to take place. All email addresses can be found in the Faculty and Staff section of our website.
Spring Personality Portraits
Uniforms are required to be worn by all students and our dress code is enforced at our school. Please be sure to have your child in accordance with the guidelines outlined in our Parent-Student Handbook.
iUniforms provide our families with all Franklin Academy uniform items. Uniforms must be purchased from this vendor to ensure equity and safety.
Character Counts! Student Assembly

The Character Trait of the month is FAIRNESS for our elementary students.
Nominated students that exhibit the character trait of the month will be recognized at our Student Assembly on Thursday, January 31, 2020, at 8:45 am.
Families of students being recognized will be notified by invitation.
Report Student Absence
To report an excused absence, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and include all of the following information:
• first and last name of the person reporting the absence
• student’s first and last name
• student's current grade level
• student's homeroom teacher
• the date of the absence
• the reason for the absence
Please refer to our Attendance Policy for a list of valid reasons and allow 72 hours for processing.
If the reason for the student's absence is not in the Attendance Policy, the absence will remain unexcused.
