Tech Tip of the Month: Gradebook Split Extension
If so, try Alice Keeler's Gradbook Split Chrome Extension which automatically splits your screen side by side with Google Classroom on one side and your grade book on another with just the click on a button.
Here's how simply it works. When you install the extension, it will appear in the upper right hand corner of your browser (of course, make sure you are in Chrome!).
Right click the extension and then select "Options."
This will open up a menu where you can put your grade book URL. I simply copied and pasted the URL from Aeries. Then click "Save."
Now when you are in Google Classroom, just click that extension. It will automatically split your screen so your Google Classroom stays up on the left and it opens up Aeries on the right.
Until Aeries and Google Classroom start talking to each other, this is a great shortcut to making your life a little easier when grading!
