MESSAGE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
We had a great turnout at Kerby's town hall last night. I appreciated the questions that were asked, the answers provided by the district, and the level of professionalism displayed from everyone who attended. Thank you all for your continued support of Kerby and of the district during these very difficult conversations. Please feel free to reach out to me at any time if you have questions.
We will have another meeting with Dr. Niehaus on May 14th from 5-6 before our regularly scheduled PTO meeting. If you have any unanswered questions about reconfiguration, please plan on attending that meeting to talk with Dr. Niehaus directly.
Sincerely,
Dr. Delgado

Have a Kindergarten or Young Five student next fall? – establish/verify residency now
It is critical that families establish or verify residency if they have a student entering GPPSS next fall, particularly for kindergarten (May 1) and Young Fives (April 18). Click here to see the pre-enrollment process (step one) and the residency documents (step two) required by board policy. Call 313-432-3083 if you have questions or need an appointment outside the enrollment office hours 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Thursday, and 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Friday.
PARKING REMINDERS
PARKING ON VENDOME COURT - As the center street sign indicates, there is supposed to be no parking around the circle from 8-4pm on school days. It seems to be an increasing problem with parents parking/leaving their cars or idling around the circle while they wait for their children after school. The street becomes highly congested, driveways are frequently blocked, and it is difficult for homeowners to leave/return to their driveways at that time.
Please be respectful and adhere to the signs.
Thank you.

Great News! This year Kerby has partnered with 1st Day School Supplies to provide you the exact supplies we are asking your child to have for the start of the new school year. All school supplies will be delivered directly to Kerby the week before school starts and will be waiting inside your child's classroom on the 1st day of school
