No Dropping Off on Benton Blvd or Spring Lakes Blvd

Last week we had a number of parent concerns about parents that are dropping their children off on Benton Blvd and Spring Lakes Blvd. These are not drop-off locations for students and present a very dangerous situation for those doing so, especially with the heavy traffic on both streets. Please ensure that you are using your appropriate drop location either the Highlands entrance for car rider drop off or the Spring Lakes car ramp.

No Dropping Off in the Parking Lot

We continue to redirect parents that are dropping their children off in the parking lot on the Spring Lakes car ramp side. This too is a dangerous situation as cars are entering the car drop-off line and the car rider line is continuously moving as parents drop their children and exit.

We look forward to another great week here at Godley Station!

iReady Reading and Math

Thank you parents for supporting and assisting your child(ren) with getting logged in to iReady. We are seeing students' work and positive progress on their learning paths. Students are completing on average 3-4 lessons a week with a score of 70% or better. Close to 70% of students are spending at least 40 minutes in both Reading and Math each week.

Students are working on iReady based on their diagnostic performance. The expectation is for the students to complete 45 minutes of Reading and 45 minutes of Math practice in iReady. Students should work to complete iReady tasks with a 70% or greater score. The time can be spread across the week in 20-25 minutes increments each day. Most lessons in iReady are approximately 20-25 minutes long.

If you are having difficulty with accessing iReady at home, please let your child's teacher know so we can support you. You can also reach out to teachers to find out how your student doing on iReady and ways you can support them when they are working in iReady.
