Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat for All Students -Friday, October 23rd
5:30PM-7:00PM
We will use the car ramp in front of the cafeteria for the Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat. Parents will enter from the Highlands car drop-off and follow the route to loop around, then drive through the circle driveway in front of the cafeteria. All students and parents will remain in their vehicles and goodies will be provided as "grab and go" of items pre-packaged store brought items. Free for PTA members, $5 for non-PTA members.
No Dropping Off on Benton Blvd or Spring Lakes Blvd
Last week we had a number of parent concerns about parents that are dropping their children off on Benton Blvd and Spring Lakes Blvd. These are not drop-off locations for students and present a very dangerous situation for those doing so, especially with the heavy traffic on both streets. Please ensure that you are using your appropriate drop location either the Highlands entrance for car rider drop off or the Spring Lakes car ramp.
No Dropping Off in the Parking Lot
We continue to redirect parents that are dropping their children off in the parking lot on the Spring Lakes car ramp side. This too is a dangerous situation as cars are entering the car drop-off line and the car rider line is continuously moving as parents drop their children and exit.
We look forward to another great week here at Godley Station!
Reminders
- Parents, please be reminded that students should not be dropped off before 7:55 AM, as there is no staff on duty before this time, therefore no supervision.
- Please do not drop off or pick up students on Benton Blvd. This is an unsafe practice.
- Student check-out ends at 2:00 PM.
- If your child is still in need of technology, please be sure to submit your technology forms completed to the Media Center.
- Breakfast and lunch are provided for free to all students each day.
- Car Pick-Up-please be in line before 3:45 to pick up your child at the car line. We will move students to the front office at 3:45. You will need to come to the front office with your car tag to pick up your child.
