MAP Testing Begins MONDAY!
Dear Parents,
It is finally that time of year! We officially have 19 more school days together (not that we're counting! :). As you know, 2nd grade is scheduled to take the MAP test beginning MONDAY. In order to end the year positively, I wanted to send out a few reminders to help make this testing week go as smoothly as possible!
TESTING TIPS :
2. Get to school by 7:50! Feeling rushed does not prepare students for success!
3. Encourage your child to think positively and take their time! Too much pressure is stressful for young children!
4. Please remind students to NEVER discuss scores with other students. This can negatively effect other students.
5. If you chose to do some reviewing each night, please try make it fun! We do not want our young ones to feel overwhelmed before/ during testing!

STEAM Day is coming up on May 4th!
STEAM day is an amazing time to be on our campus, and with 30+ different activities happening at the same time it is an event we simply cannot do without a LOT of volunteers!
This year we need a mix of all day volunteers and those who can come in for just a couple hours in the morning or afternoon, so please find what works best for you and click to sign up and say YES!
You can sign up for any age group, and we will be pairing up most of our volunteers - after you pick your time slot there is a place to enter the name of who you would like to be paired with.
Most volunteers will be working in the classroom directly with the kids, but we also need lunchroom volunteers and a few willing to drop in wherever needed! If you're signing up to be a classroom volunteer, exact information and instructions for each activity will be provided the week before STEAM day (and you only need to bring yourself and a smile)!

We are pleased to inform you that once again we have scheduled several wonderful summer camps at our school.
Fulton Science Academy summer camps provide fun, hands-on activities in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Camps develop new skills, expand creative thinking, and foster team building and new friendships.
With the exception of the FSA's Summer Leadership Camp (which is open to FSA students only), our camps are open to ALL Georgia students.
