Greenview Knolls Elementary
Weekly Update#2 2023-2024
Greetings GKES Families,
It was a great second week of school! Our children are getting into the routines and being accountable for the expectations set before them. Teachers are getting students acclimated to academic expectations as well. Thank you for your support.
This week, we are starting OWLS of the Week. An OWL of the Week is nominated by their teacher for meeting school and classroom expectations as well as showing improvement toward meeting those expectations. Each student will be recognized on the morning announcements each Friday morning. Additionally, students chosen during the month will be recognized at Community Gatherings and will be highlighted on our OWLS of the Month school bulletin board.
We will see you tomorrow! Have a TERRIFIC week!!
Wishing You Well,

School attendance is critical to the success of our children. We love to see them in school everyday and they make so much progress when teachers can maximize their learning opportunities consistently.
We understand that illnesses do happen and we ask that you work with the school nurse if your child will be absent from school more than 2 to 3 days. This way the nurse is aware of the illness and can assist in transitioning the student back to school along with the teacher.
