Ochoa Community School
Ochoa earns a "B" Rating from Arizona Department of Education
The state of Arizona uses the State Accountability model to annually measure schools' performance. It's great to hear that Ochoa is considered a "B" rated school, and it's a testament to the hard work and dedication of families, scholars, and staff. Achieving a specific school rating often reflects the efforts of the entire school community in providing a quality education. Keep up the good work, and I hope that Ochoa continues to thrive and improve in the future! Education is a vital component of personal and community growth. Thank you for all your support!
Wright Flight at Ochoa
We are very excited to announce that Ochoa is now a Wright Flight School. Our 5th grade scholars will have the opportunity to participate in the Wright Flight Program. Through this program scholars are introduced to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) careers. The outcomes for program graduates include better grades, better attitudes at school and home, increased self-confidence and a success mentality. Lean more on the link below.

Community Resource Corner
This month we would like to feature Tu Nidito. Tu Nidito is a non-profit organization that provides support and services to individuals and families who are dealing with grief and loss, especially in the context of children and young adults. They offer a range of programs and resources to help these individuals cope with their grief and navigate the challenges that come with losing a loved one.
If you or someone you know is in need of support for dealing with grief and loss, I would recommend reaching out to Tu Nidito directly or visiting their website. It's great to hear that there are organizations like Tu Nidito that provide essential support during difficult times.
