Weekly Update
Greetings Givens Families,
I hope you are enjoying this weekend and the nice weather we are having with it. I would like to share my gratitude for all the parents that were able to join us and volunteer for Field Day. Under the leadership of CoachHawthorne, your help allowed us to provide a fun-filled day of outdoor games, laughter, and well-spent time with our classroom communities! We could not have done that without you! We appreciate your partnership!
We are pumped and ready to enjoy this last week of school with various opportunities to celebrate our time together, our growth, and the relationships we have built and strengthened over the year. We are kicking off our week with Harambee and have invited incoming KDG Students and their families to participate in our celebration.
On Wednesday, we are celebrating the end of our Trimester with a Day of Play and end of Trimester Parties. Families are welcome to participate from 1:30-2:30. Please get with your room parents/classroom teachers for more information.
We will then be working to celebrate our 5th Graders who are transitioning to middle school! They have a day full of fun scheduled and then we will look forward to celebrating them with their families at an evening ceremony.
As we knock this last week out of the park, let's work hard to finish the year strong by remembering:
-Attendance Matters
-Get Involved (2 opportunities to volunteer can be found below)
-Partnership is Key
-Take time to Celebrate Success, Set Goals, & Monitor Progress
