A MESSAGE FROM DR. VENGHAUS

Though it was short, it has been quite a busy week! We started with our final football games of the season and ended with our Veterans Day assemblies.

Progress Report grades have been updated in the system. If your child is not being successful, please encourage them to attend tutorials. The most up to date grades and assignments can be found by logging in to the parent portal. Click HERE for directions on how to view your student's grades and attendance.

One more week of instruction and then we are off for Thanksgiving Break: November 20-24.

Proud to be your student's principal,

Football

The 7th and 8th Grade Football Teams finished off their seasons by playing in the Junior High Mag Bowls Monday and Tuesday against Magnolia Junior High. 7th Grade played at Magnolia High School as the Home Team and loved playing under the lights with fans going crazy! The Gray Team shutout Magnolia 7-0 to start the evening. The White Team followed up with a shutout of their own winning 6-0. The Blue Team fought hard but ended up losing 14-35. While the loss hurts, The Blue Team earned 7th Grade “A” District Champs for their overall record of 8-1. The Coaching Staff is proud of everything that all 3 teams

accomplished and overcame this season. We are excited to see how you perform the rest of the school year and next year!

8th Grade played at Magnolia West High School as the Visitors and were also treated to full stands including the band! The Gray Team lost 0-8 and the White Team also lost 8-13 against a rowdy Mustang Team. The Blue Team ended the night on a positive note by lassoing the Mustangs and winning 24-7. The Coaches really enjoyed the season with this group, and are excited to see what they accomplish next year at the High School.
