Spradley Elementary Weekly Update

Date: November 28, 2021

Administrative Update

Spradley Families,

I hope you had a relaxing Thanksgiving break and enjoyed spending time with your family and friends. I slept late, ate too much, laughed with family, and even swam with dolphins (yes, I was petrified), lol. Tomorrow, I plan on loving on all of my Spradley families, because I missed seeing your smiling faces and sharing in the lives of your student(s).

It's hard to believe that this week we will enter into the last month of the 2020 year. As we end November, there are a few announcements I want to share with you. Starting Monday, November 29, 2021, WE ARE OPEN for lunch! Please feel free to eat on campus, in the cafeteria, with your child(ren). Also, please check the PTO site for more information regarding winter celebrations and volunteer opportunities.

Finally, as we prepare for the winter break, we will have optional dress up days for our staff and students. This is not mandatory, just something fun for our students.

Thursday, December 2nd- Frosty the Snowman Day

Friday, December 3rd- Favorite Candy Day

Monday, December 6th- Flannel Shirt Day

Tuesday, December 7th- Cultural Dress Up Day

Wednesday, December 8th- Elf Day

Thursday, December 9th- Holiday Sweater Day (Ugly or Not)

Friday, December 10th- Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Day

Monday, December 13th- Dress as a Holiday Gift Day

Tuesday, December 14th- Green Grinch Day

Wednesday, December 15th- Holiday Socks Day

Thursday, December 16th- Red and Green Day

Friday, December 17th- Holiday Pajama Day

We are slowly returning to "normal" and we are excited. Continue to monitor the newsletter for updates and important information.

Yours in Partnership,

Dr. Hodge

After Hours Reporting for Potential Threat to Self

What happens if a staff member or student learns that a student might be suicidal after school hours, on the weekend, or during a holiday?

If immediate help is needed, call 911.

Students should make a report to tip411. After the report has been made, they should follow up with the Hope Squad Advisor (if the student is in Hope Squad).

Staff should also make a report to tip411. Once a report has been made, staff should notify the campus principal letting them know that a report has been made.

Option 1

Download the Prosper ISD App. Click on Tip411. Enter tip. You will receive a message back through the app once the message is received.
