The American Industrial Revoltion
A Discretided society
The begining
The industrial revolution was a time where america advanced but not at the expense of our own humanity.
Poor Factory Conditions
During the industrial revolution there were poor factory conditions. for the sake of making things faster many health violations were produced. being exposed to Poisonous air, animal and mineral properties, and confined in cramped apartments were only a few of the poor conditions they were forced to live and work in.
Child labor
the revolution did not only take a hard toll on adults this affected children as well. children as young as 5 were allowed to work in the mills. These children would go underneath the machines while they were on, it scared them at first but they soon got used to it.
extreme working hours
To satisfy the needs of Americans an mass production working hours were very long. There were little to no breaks and the pay they got for their hard labor didn't help much either.
Conclusion
Although there were several pros such as inventions, mass production, and transportation improvements. The cons simply out weigh them because we could have advanced without the need of hurting our own species.
