National PTA's Reflections Program
National PTA’s Reflections program has helped students explore their own thoughts, feelings and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence and find a love for learning that will help them become more successful in school and in life.
Each year, over 300,000 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 create original works of art in response to a student-selected theme. The theme for the 2019-2020 program year is Look Within. Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, Visual Arts. Entries may be dropped off in the front office. The deadline for entries is October 1st. The entry form is available on our website.

Friends of Hope Annual Giving Campaign
Before Back to School Night, Friends of Hope had raised approximately $2,000.
After Back to School Night, Friends of Hope reached approximately $12,000 in the Annual Giving Campaign!
We are so grateful for our generous community!
In order to fully fund all of the amazing programs Friends of Hope supports, we need to reach our goal of $80,000. We hope you will consider donating today! No gift is too small and every donation helps! Please go to our website: https://hope.schoolloop.com/fohs and look for the "Donate" button, or send checks payable to Friends of Hope School to the office. Your donation is tax deductible. We thank you very much!
Pride Pal - Staff Appreciation
Pride Pals is looking for volunteers for the 2019/2020 school year!!
The goal of Pride Pals is to remind our Hope teachers and staff how valuable they are and how much they are appreciated throughout the year.
If you volunteer to participate, you will receive a reminder email each month from October-May to bring a small gift ($5-10 value) with a note addressed to your assigned Pride Pal. You will leave the small token of appreciation in the school office, and it will be delivered for you.
All participating staff members will fill out a Pride Pal survey, or “wish list", which makes it very easy to pick out some of their favorite items.
We encourage you to get your kids involved in this program as well! They can help pick out gifts or help write little notes of appreciation to your PridePal. This is a great opportunity to teach them the importance of showing appreciation and the art of budget-conscious gift giving!
There is a sign up sheet in the office, or you may contact:

Drop Off and Pick Up Helpful Hints and Safety Tips
- When dropping off and picking up along the curb, please pull as far forward as possible to help maintain traffic flow.
- Please make after school arrangements with your child before drop off. While we try our best to get urgent messages to students, we cannot guarantee it. Your assistance with this will help limit classroom interruptions.
- Student dismissal for 1st-5th Grade is at 2:20 pm except on Thursday (early release at 1:25). Please make arrangements to pick up your student on time as after school supervision is limited.
Thank you in advance for helping us maintain a safe campus for our students!
