Follow the Polar Bears in Churchill, Manitoba
Every fall, hundreds of polar bears gather on the shores of Hudson Bay near Churchill, Manitoba to wait for the sea ice to form so they can return to hunting seals. You can follow the action with your students LIVE through Polar Bear Cams, participate in chats, and more. (Students might even want to watch on their own outside school.) This free programming, called Tundra Connections, has already started, and runs through November 15.
