Hanging Gardens of Babylon
Cool Wonder of the world
Hanging gardens of Babylon
The people who built the Hanging Gardens of Babylon was King Nebuchadnezzar's people. The king's people built this wonder around 300BC. The Gardens of Babylon were built 350 miles north of Nineveh. This wonder of the world does not still exist because it was destroyed by an earthquake. Babylon's purpose was to be a royal garden. Some interesting facts are that he made this wonder to make his wife happy because she was homesick for the plants of her native land. The gardens are 75 feet high. I think this is a wonder of the world because how could a garden grow upside down. The sources I used were www.unmuseum.org , www.kiden.org , www.softschools.com.
