Important dates!
Library books are due back EVERY Thursday!
November 22: Kindergarten feast! We will spend time talking about the first Thanksgiving and then we will have our own "Thanksgiving Feast" (Chex mix). You by no means HAVE to bring in an item to donate to the mix but you most certainly CAN! Some ideas would be gold fish, M&M's, little marshmallows, pretzels, cheese balls, anything that can be added to make a Chex mix!
Thanksgiving break will be November 23rd and 24th, enjoy time with your families!
I just got word that we will NOT BE renewing our Seesaw subscription when that time comes. Please email me if you have anything I need to know!
SNACK
THANK YOU for helping provide snack for your child and our class. We have 19 kiddos and no allergies in the classroom. Please do your best to send your child with snack. Here is the next couple weeks!
November 20- Josiah
November 21- Olivia
November 24- Angel
November 28- Carly

How it works at PAES!
My next "how it works at PAES" is "no student" days.
You will see on the calendar that there are day that the students are not at school but teachers are still here. We have a few two hour late starts for the students as well. While your child is home with you, we teachers are working hard on our continuing education. We have been working through a reading program called LETRS for the last couple years. The LETRS program answers a lot of the "why" do letters make this/that sound and the "how" do we teach reading to kiddos in a way they grasp. We also have other trainings we need to keep up on throughout the years as well. I know it can be hard when we do not have school to find child care. But please know we are taking those days and using them to help us be better teachers!
Parent Volenteers!
I have so many asking about parent volunteers! If you would like to come in and Volunteer, I could use volunteers during our centers time! Centers begin around 1:45 and go till about 2:00ish. However I realize you may want to spend more time in the room so you would be welcome to come during math time (1:20ish-1:45ish) or you could come for centers, snack, and choice play (1:45-end of day). I am open to whatever works in your time schedule in the afternoons. Email me with a time and/or day you would like to join our class!
Of course I do not expect any one to take time off work to join our class, I just wanted to give the option!
THE COLD IS NEAR
The snow is HERE!!! Please try to label your Childs items!
Your child will need:
*boots
*jacket
*snowpants
*Hat
*mittens/gloves (heavy mittens/gloves, the stretchy ones are too thin for snow play)
Winter Gear Expectations:
Your child should be able to get dressed independently, this includes zipping and putting mittens/gloves on. Mittens/gloves will go on last so they can get the coat zipped.
Please practice this at home so they can have as much recess as possible. We only have a short time outside so if they take to long getting ready they miss a lot of their time!
Parent(s) often want to leave the snowpants here but we do not have the space to do so. Usually the buses want the students to have them on anyway in case of bus trouble.
Let me know if you have questions!
