District Spotlights
Teacher Spotlight
Name: Tiffany Cropf
How long have you worked at East Pennsboro Area School District?
This is my tenth year teaching first grade at West Creek Hills. However, I completed my student teaching placement my senior year of college in Kindergarten with the best mentor teacher ever, Mrs. Sara Clarke, so I feel like this is my eleventh year of teaching.
What is your favorite memory at East Pennsboro Area School District?
I really loved when we collected “Quarters for Karaoke” to raise money for Relay for Life. Teachers performed skits on stage to get the students pumped up. My group sang “Firework” by Katie Perry and I surprised my students by doing a back handspring (this was before I had children and could still actually do a back handspring). The look on their faces was priceless and we raised a lot of money for a great cause.
What are your interests/hobbies?
I love being outside! Volleyball, softball, swimming, hiking, kayaking- anything active. I also love DIY projects including painting furniture and creating signs and shirts with my Cricut machine.
Married?
I have been married to Mr. Cropf for ten years. I actually got married the first year I was hired at West Creek Hills and my students had to keep reminding me my name changed from Miss Deiter to Mrs. Cropf.
Children?
I have three sons-Yes I am the ultimate BOY MOM. Matthew is eight, Carson is five, and Easton is 2. They definitely bring me more joy than anything and keep me on my toes. They love being outside and are really good at making a lot of laundry for me to do!
Pets?
We have a fish named Freddie that my son, Carson, won at a carnival last year. We also just got a puppy named Penny. She is a Labradoodle and the boys are obsessed. (See picture below!)
What is something no one knows about you?
I am a pretty open person so I do not have many hidden secrets, but one thing people might not know about me is I also have a degree in Psychology. During my undergraduate years, I conducted research with a professor. Although my peers and I graduated and were not able to fully complete the research study, my professor continued our research and our findings are listed in a Psychology magazine.
What is your favorite quote or piece of advice?
“In the end, it’s not the years in your life that count. It’s the life in your years.” -Abraham Lincoln
This quote has inspired me to love every day for what it is. The good, the bad, and even the ugly. Tomorrow is never promised so I try to be as positive as possible and love the life I live.

What are your interests and hobbies: Doing puzzles and word searches
Married: widowed
Children: 1 son & 1 grandson

What is something no one knows about you: I am 78 years old!
What is your favorite quote or piece of advice: Make sure you always have a job!
Why did you decide to become a bus/van driver? Extra money & gives me something to do
Why should people consider become a bus or van driver? Gives the retired people something to do and earn a little money and get to know more kids and adults.
Food Services Spotlight
The first Friday in May is known as School Lunch Hero Day. In honor of that this year, our food services provider Chartwells donated books to our elementary schools. The books are "Lunch Lady 2-For-1 Special: The First Helping" by Jarrett J. Krosoczka. We are thankful for our wonderful food service employees across the District, and for this meaningful donation.
