Dynamic Broncos Weekly Update
April 20th - 24th
Achievement Testing is this week! St. Andrew's uses the Comprehensive Testing Program (CTP) as one way of assessing student progress. The Comprehensive Testing Program (CTP) is a rigorous assessment for high achieving students in areas such as reading, listening, vocabulary, writing, science (online only) and mathematics. Verbal and quantitative reasoning subtests are part of the CTP beginning in Grade 3. The CTP helps compare content specific, curriculum-based performance to the more conceptual knowledge base found in reasoning tests.
To find out more about the CTP, please visit the following page: https://www.erblearn.org/services/ctp-overview/faqs
Third Graders will be testing Monday - Thursday from 8:00 - 8:40 and from 1:10 - 1:50. Please make every effort to be sure your child attends school this week. Any missed tests must be made up before 2pm on Friday.
We have several generous Dynamic Broncos parents who will be sending in healthy snacks for the kids this week. You will not need to send a separate snack Monday through Thursday of this week.
The Dynamic Broncos do not have assigned homework this week, although I do encourage them to read each night. They do not need to worry about filling in their reading logs or jotting on their stickies.
Please make sure that your child is well rested and eats a healthy and hearty breakfast each morning this week!
