First Graders' Snowmen Explore Careers!

Based on the book, "Snowmen at Work", first graders created jobs for their snowmen. They also decorated their snowmen to reflect their career! Students then wrote 3 clues to help other first graders guess what job their snowman had. Great fun - and deductive reasoning - was had by all! Great job First Graders!

2nd Graders Write "How To Build A Snowman" stories!

by Olivia

Have you ever built a snowman? I have! First, I rolled a big ball. It was gigantic! Next, I rolled a medium sized ball. The size was perfect! Then I rolled a small ball. And I stacked it first on the big one. Then the medium ball one. Finally, the small one. Then I put rocks for eyes and a mouth. The sticks were for the arms. I used a carrot for a nose!
