Week 11 Term 1, Thursday 14 April

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Kia ora Families

We've made it to the end of the first term! Despite the challenges of Covid, we have managed to have a very successful eleven weeks.

Our children have been exceptional! A massive thank you to the children in Years 4-6 who have been required to wear masks over this period.

A huge thank you, as I say every term, to my wonderful teachers and support staff. You have all been so supportive and positive during these stressful times; our children are so lucky to have you all!

You will have seen from yesterday's notification that we are now at the orange traffic light setting. I will communicate our school specific protocols with you via the school app and seesaw at some point in the school break.

I wish you all a safe two weeks of term break and look forward to seeing children back on Monday 2 May.

Nga mihi,

Steve

An Electric car visits Onekawa School!

We were given an electric car to use for the day a few weeks ago!

Our year 4-6 children checked out the brand new $170,000 Jaguar I-Pace and learnt about it's features.

A huge thanks to the team at Integrated Energy for loaning us the car for the day!
