Ann Reid Families,
Thank you to all the families who contributed to the Gift Program as part of the End-Of-The-Year gifts for staff. Your generosity is so appreciated. Wednesday of this week is Speech Language Pathologist Day. Please help me in saying a HUGE THANK YOU to our SLPs who do so much to support the growth and learning of ALL our students.
Our Duckling Dash will take place on 5/25. The Duckling Dash is an organized run for our preschoolers during the school day. They have been training for weeks, and they are up for the challenge. Individual specific class times were sent home by your teacher. Please check and double check those times so you do not miss out!
The Duckling Dash occurs during a regular school day and families are encouraged to attend. Parking is at a premium as staff and families will park in the neighborhoods on this day. Arrive early to find a spot and walk to the race route in our Ann Reid parking lot.
Thank you to the families who have already returned their iPads to Ann Reid this week. Please continue to drop off your school iPad and charger in our front office or send it back in your child's backpack. Please send a note to your child's teacher through email or Seesaw if you send it in your child's backpack.
Love,
AJ

Health and Safety Tips
When you enrolled your child in school you signed a form verifying that prior to utilizing District transportation and/or entering a District building, your student will receive a daily symptom screening at home by an adult caregiver to determine if my student is experiencing any COVID19 symptoms. We are all busy, and information quickly changes. Below are those symptoms you should be checking:
- Temperature of 100.4 (or greater) degrees Fahrenheit/38 degrees Celsius;
- New Cough;
- New onset of moderate to severe headache;
- Shortness of breath;
- Sore throat;
- Nausea and/or Vomiting;
- Diarrhea;
- abdominal pain from a unknown source;
- New loss of taste or smell;
- Fatigue from an unknown cause;
- Muscle and body aches;
- Any other COVID-10 symptoms identified by the CDC or IDPH
